Set against its iconic backdrop of irresistible beaches, enticing surf and tree-lined mountains, the world-famous monuments of Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer keep watch over the bustling city below, with themselves being must-see attractions for any visit to Rio, for the views if nothing else!

We will make like true cariocas and delve into this exciting city, making the most of the metro or strolling on foot, chatting with the locals to get a real sense of what life here is really like. The notorious Carnaval scene is as famous a representation of the carioca culture of the city itself.
