This rock is located on the West side of Rio, in a safe neighborhood, outside of the common tourist route.
This experience has two options:
Sunrise hike experience. For adventurous hikers who don't mind awakening very early in the morning.
Morning hike.
Sunset hike experience. For people who don't like get up early in the morning.
The returning times for Sunrise/Sunset:
Sunrise: 05:00AM
Morning hike: 07:00AM
Sunset: 05:00PM
Children under 10 are free.

I felt like I wouldn't survive the hike. (no fault of Caoi, moreso my ability to climb steep hills).
However, Caoi did keep me alive. The running joke was don't die today Kelly. He pushed me to keep going when I didn't think I could make it. At the end was the beautiful Telegraph Stone where we took some fun pics hanging off the rock and seeing the sunrise.
We started hiking around 4 or 430, which was about an hour away from my hotel so my pickup was like 245 am. Rough! lol.
It's worth it to do the sunrise hike because not only do you see great coloring but you beat the lines which I heard can be lengthy and hot in the sun.
I hired a photographer that was there for 100 brazillian real and he took some great shots with orange glow behind me.
After the hike, later that day I hired him again for a personalized city tour.
It was a great day! he was fun and helpful and would recommend to anyone who likes a straight shooter like myself.
