Paragliding in São Conrado, Rio de Janeiro

Professional paragliding (and hang gliding) school located in São Conrado. Booking and communication was simple and efficient. Luckily the weather was perfect the day we had booked to fly so we didn't have to deal with any changes. After registering at the school on arrival, we were taken by car to the launch site (Rampa de Voo Livre da Pedra Bonita). Flying on a Sunday it was very busy but this only added to the experience. The flight itself is over the Vila Canoas area affording great views of Pedra da Gávea and Pedra Bonita (landing back at the school). The general vibe is very relaxed. Safety is taken seriously, with the whole complex task of training, transporting, reassuring etc. is done in a way that felt very natural. Our pilots for the experience Eduardo and Christoph were excellent - their English language skills were great too. They were happy to answer our many questions and even acted as local tour guides, providing tips as we went. The camaraderie between all pilots was clear to see, creating a real community feel that was hard not to enjoy! Go for it; you'll love it!

A experiência foi incrível! O instrutor Dudu é muito atencioso e paciente para passar as informações ( inclusive sobre qual a melhor data para realizarmos o passeio).

Depois de superar o medo na decolagem, o vôo foi bem tranquilo e a vista é simplesmente de tirar o fôlego. Super recomendo!
