Just the best! Amazing energy and aura from Victoria really made our experience even sweeter. My son & I traveled very far just for this attraction & im so fortunate to have found such a great tour company to make our visit absolutely magical. The views were breathtaking. Our photos are flawless! Taking the tour first thing we were on the first bus up. It’s just my son and I in our photos. Exactly what we wanted! Definitely a must do tour with this company.

It was pouring the day of the tour, other people with reservations cancelled, but my guide Kiko and driver Flavio made sure I had the greatest time. And I did! For a couple minutes it was just me and the Cristo. A memorable and touching experience

It is iconic and a 'must see', but an experience of chaos if busy....

If visiting Rio, the site of Christ the Redeemer, is a 'must do'. It is iconic. The views up there are fantastic (although be aware that the pinnacle is so high up, there can be clouds obscuring the view). On the day we went, fortunately they parted. There are various ways up there. We think it is amazing that anyone could actually hike it (incidentally, we heard of armed bandits recently robbing a group of hikers in the forest trails, way below the site). From a distance, you get the perspective of just how steep and high the peak actually is... We took a minibus with joint entry ticket deal (leaving from Poste 2 in Copacabana). The journey up is great, but the arrival point at a vehicle staging post was a scene of chaos....You sort of work out where the queue is. It took nearly half an hour to reach the turnstile. Our ticket featured a bar-code (journey/entry ticket)- we showed the image code on our mobiles to the attendant at the turnstiles. It may be confusing as other people at that point are looking to buy entry tickets. In eventually getting through the managed turnstiles you then join another queue. Some of the queue lines are undercover but other parts not- beware hot sunshine or potentially heavy downpours (a fold up umbrella is useful). The second queue weaves about until you reach a staging post for a shuttle of minivans. These drop you off near the base of the statue - there are steps or use of lift (aka elevator) to reach the decking area. Around the base of the statue the decks have amazing views in all directions. It was absolutely packed up there but the effort is worthwhile. It may be worth considering the time of day to visit- we arrived at about 10.30am. In leaving there is another queue, waiting for the shuttle bus down to the initial staging post (again no outdoor cover- so be aware!)
