Amazing experience !!!! A must do in Rio!

This is simply a must do if you’re visiting Rio. There is nothing like taking a capoeira class in Brazil. It is so welcoming and uplifting. It is a workout so it’s good to wear comfortable clothes, but the energy is something I will never forget. The instructor is amazing, and takes time to really show you how it’s done. And he took videos of the experience so we didn’t have to. Not to mention, they do so much goodwill in Rio. 10/10!!

My son and I had a great time at this capoiera class. Omri was an excellent teacher who helped us learn the basic moves, and the regular students were friendly and kind. This was not a "tourist" group. Most of the students live in Rio and attend regularly. We ended the class playing musical instruments while different students performed. The music, the history, the moves -- it all added up to a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this.

What an awesome end to our trip. We were able to participate in class as well as get some insight on an awesome social initiative that is supported through capoeira. We had a great time and Omri and the other fighters made us feel very welcomed and comfortable trying out this martial art form! A must do if visiting Rio!!
