Overview

Discover Rio's most important touristic attractions on a private tour in the company of an expert guide.

Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon

You'll be met at your hotel by your private guide and head to the base of Corcovado Mountain by car, passing by Rio's beaches and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon on the way.

Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer

Reaching the Cosme Velho district, you'll take a unique Swiss cogwheel train that climbs the mountain from its base to nearly the summit. The very top is reached by climbing a flight of stairs to arrive at the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. The view, from this vantage point, with the surrounding Tijuca National Forest spreading below and a circle of mountains closing the horizon at the very back of the Guanabara bay is truly spectacular. After some time to walk around and take photos, we make the way back down.

We then head towards to the bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood, home to a collection of local boutiques and galleries. Most important is your guide and the very best is Camila! Rio is her home town and she knows It well. All the vendors know her and gave us free samples. She knows the history and she gave my husband a tour of Maracana soccer stadium he will remember for years to come. We had a late flight after a cruise and this was a great way to spend the day before going to the airport. I recommend this tour and Camila highly.

Fun and Informative View of Rio

This tour will take you to all the important and touristy spots in Rio, but most importantly our guide Camila took us to some really beautiful and unique destinations that we would have never thought of going. She also added a lot of interesting commentary about the history of the city. Our driver Junior was excellent, kept us safe and in time to visit all the different places around town.

I would not hesitate to book this tour again.

Where do I begin? Let me start off by saying that we travel often and have been on many tours around the world is this was a stand out! Both our guide camila, and Our driver Paolo were fantastic. We had one full day to spend in rio and camila was able to organize a perfect and super full day with everything we could park in. She was knowledgeable and efficient and so worldly. She speaks many languages and has experience with guests and group types from all over the world.
We were able to see top attractions and some nice off the beaten path places and experiences. I don’t know how I could find a way to recommend this company more.
