Overview

My name is Julio Batista, I´m a private tour guide in Rio since 2008. I was born and raised here, and I´ll be happy to receive you to a unique experience.
My goal is to offer you a closer look and a wide perspective from the city, with confort and safety.
I lived in Belgium when I was a child where I learned french, and later on in USA to improve my English.
I love my work and been able to learn from each experience with my clients.
I also have a degree in journalism, and I speak fluently English, French and Spanish.

What To Expect

Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer

After picking you up at your accomodation or meeting point, we´ll visit the famous statue of Christ Redeemer by train.
The ride up takes 20 pleasent minutes by the Tijuca National Park (forest). Beside the impressive statue, the panoramic views are very beatiful too.
The idea is that you buy your ticket(s) on site for the train in a preferential line with your tour guide. Importnat to notice that they only accpet cash for this option. These are the only tickets you will need for the day.
In case you prefer to buy them in adavance (using credit card), please send a message to your tour guide so he can give you the step by step.

Escadaria Selaron

The Salaron steps are one of the most visited attractions in Rio by it´s beauty and originality. They are completetly covered by colored ceramics from all over the world.

Painel Etnias

Considered the biggest graffiti painting in the world (Guinness Book), it shows 5 unique ancestral characters in huges sizes. A interesting work of art to appreciate and takes pctures.

Museu do Amanha

A huge and original construction by the bay area, the museum is an oustanding attraction. The visit is made by outside, and offers many diferent angles for pictures and observation of other attarctions as well.
