Overview
Our Rafting Trip happens 2 hours away by car, from Rio de Janeiro city, in the country side of Rio state in a little town called Casimiro de Abreu
The whole trip takes about 8 hours round trip, with about 2 hours for rafting.
The rapids on Macae river are usually safe and fun for families and groups of friends. Price includes pick up and drop off in Rio city, rafting, guiding services and equipment rentals ( lifevests, helmets, paddles)
This tour gives travelers a good oportunity to not only have fun in the river, but to get to know a charming part of Rio de Janeiro state.
We offer free high resolution gopro photos and video, sent after a few days via email, with a dropbox link to access.

On the day Rafael picked us up and drove us out to a beautiful location amidst gorgeous scenery. On our arrival the team taking us talked us through what we needed to do and gave us time to make our self comfortable and safe.
We started our adventure and made our way down the river feeling well looked after and in lovely friendly company. At ever stage through the trip we were made comfortable and given time to acclimatise and enjoy the adventure - we couldn't praise them highly enough and enjoyed every second.
At the end of the white water we floated in the current of the river enjoying the serene stillness, peace and beauty of it all and wished we could do it all again.
