Overview
Samba Schools start their preparation several months before the Carnival Parade, the first Samba Rehearsal is in July.
Every Saturday Night we visit the prestigious Samba School Salgueiro (best in Rio) and we will be very happy to take you to this unmissable experience.
Arriving at the Samba School Rehearsal a comfortable table will have been booked for you.
This unforgettable night will start with a Brazilian Music Band.
Enthusiastic Dancers, talents musicians and The Carrier Flag Couple will introduce you into the magical Samba and Carnival world.
Around 00:30 AM will be the Top of the night, the presentation of the “Batería” (percussion orchestra). Sixty percussion instruments played simultaneously in perfect harmony create a contagious and energetic rhythm called Samba.
This rhythm is a treasure, a true cultural heritage.
The Samba School Rehearsal it’s not just a show, it’s a cultural experience that you can´t not miss in your visit to Rio de Janeiro.

Ya una vez en la escuela, nos tomó unas fotos increíbles y hasta nos enseñó unos pasos de samba. Teníamos una mesa reservada al frente, e incluso estando de pie ella siempre se aseguraba que tengamos la mejor ubicación para el show.
Y el show de la escuela, ni se diga, una fiesta completa, cantantes, show interactivo con el público, y una hermosa mini representación del desfile del carnaval, fue increíble ver personas de todas las edades bailando con sus trajes al son de la banda. Te contagiaban de su alegría, era imposible no moverte con ellos!
