What To Expect

Parque Nacional da Serra dos Orgaos
Mirante do Inferno is a fantastic viewpoint located in the Serra dos Órgãos National Park (PARNASO) and from where it is possible to glimpse all the beauty of the Devil's Needle. An imposing rock formation with 2,050 meters of altitude, which is desire of 11 out of 10 climbers and considered one of the most beautiful climbs in the world.

The route to the belvedere begins at the Beija-Flor River Dam, at the end of the park road. The trek starts on the trail that leads to Pedra do Sino, the main trail of PARNASO. On the way, we pass by the Véu da Noiva Waterfall and the ruins of shelters 2 and 3. We continue along this trail until Cota 2.000, from where the trail begins to become a little more interesting. She does not show any climbs, but at times she may have a greater degree of difficulty.

Starting from Quota 2,000, we pass through the Valley of the Orchids and the source of the Paquequer River. Arriving at the gazebo, we have the opportunity to see other fantastic mountains such as Morro da Cruz, Verruga do Frade, Bell Stone and Garrafão.
