Overview

The city of Petrópolis is located on the top of Serra da Estrela in the state of Rio de Janeiro, at 845 meters of altitude, it mixes and combines the past and present with the charm of buildings from the imperial period and the exuberant nature of Serra dos Órgãos. Turistando RJ takes you to discover several landmarks of the Imperial City starting with its own route passing by the ascent in the Serra de Petrópolis with a privileged view from above. Upon arrival in the city, we will visit the Casa do Alemão, Quitandinha Palace, Imperial Palace, Cathedral of São Pedro de Alcântara, Crystal Palace, Chocolate House Katz, Santos Dumont House, Bohemia Brewery (with free tasting) and Soberano Restaurant.
